Morris Stevens grew up loving science fiction — sprawling worlds, quick-witted adventurers, and exciting technology that felt just real enough to believe in. Neon Titan Awakens is his debut novel: a brutal, defiant journey through a crumbling world where survival isn't enough and found family might be the only way forward.
He wrote his first story in fourth grade — about a family of penguins — and discovered it was more fun than it had any right to be. That spark never left. For decades, Morris built complex systems as a software architect while dreaming up future worlds to get lost in. Eventually, the stories demanded more.
Originally from Texas, he now writes while traveling across South America. Before that, he spent ten years exploring the U.S. by motorcycle, diving coral reefs from Belize to the Galapagos, and pulling apart anything that hummed or blinked. He lives without a fixed address — chasing horizons, collecting questions, and always building the next world.
